Foundation from the ground up.

This is OUR story.

How Foundational Finance began

Growing up, I watched my parents run multiple small businesses.

I admired their work ethic and the pride they took in what they built. But I also saw the pressures that came with it. The uncertainty. The financial strain.

That stays with you.

From a young age, I wanted to understand how money actually worked.

The Path I Chose

That curiosity led me into accounting, wealth management, banking, and eventually entrepreneurship.

On paper it made sense.

But something about it never sat right.

Most of the work in finance is with people who already have wealth. The people I felt drawn to help were often the ones left behind.

Around the same time, my own financial life became a rollercoaster.

Learning the Hard Way

I built a business that grew faster than I was ready for.

To keep it moving, I took on tens of thousands in high-risk debt.
The pressure was constant.

Eventually I sold the business for what should have been a life-changing amount of money.

But I wasn’t ready for it.

Despite working in finance, I had never built a real personal foundation.

Within a year, most of that money was gone.

A gambling addiction took hold and a series of poor decisions followed.

It was a hard lesson.

Knowing about money and having a system for it are two very different things.

Before I continue… does any of this sound familiar?

You’re working hard but it still feels like money disappears.

You might be earning decent income and still feel like you're stuck.

Maybe you're paying down debt but can't see real progress.

Or you feel like everyone else has figured something out that you haven't.

That feeling is more common than people admit.

And it's usually not a discipline problem.

It's a clarity problem.

If this sounds like where you are right now, you can start with a simple conversation.

No obligation. Just clarity.

Alright, back to it…

When Life Changes Everything

I was training as a professional ultra-runner, chasing qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic marathon, when I was diagnosed with cancer and told it was terminal.

Everything stopped.

The months that followed forced me to rebuild my life from the ground up.

My health.
My finances.
My relationships.
My perspective.

One step at a time.

What That Period Taught Me

Clarity.

I stopped comparing my path to anyone else’s.

I focused on building security, freedom, and a life that actually felt aligned with what mattered.

Those lessons became the foundation for everything that came next.

Why Foundational Finance Exists

These experiences are the reason Foundational Finance exists.

I’ve seen the extremes.

The highs and lows of money.
The pressure of business.
The fear that comes when life changes overnight.

I know what it feels like when money starts to control your life.

And what it takes to rebuild it.

Most people don’t need another financial product.

They need clarity.
A plan.
A system they can trust.

That’s what I help people build.

Foundational Finance exists for everyday people who feel:
• behind

Without judgement.

With guidance.

So you can understand your money, build a clear plan, and move forward with confidence.
